The name of the story is The Blue Jackal
Once upon a time there was a jungle. In that jungle, there were lots of animals. There lived a jackal in that jungle. He wandered around all day looking for food. One day he came out of the jungle and got into a village. In that village, he saw some washer men washing clothes and some of them dyeing the clothes with lots of different colors. In the lunch time,when all washer men went out for lunch the jackal started moving around in that area while doing so by mistake he fell into a tub which had a blue color dye.
When the jackal came out of the tub he was all blue. He went to drink water from a nearby pond. When he went near the pond and bend to drink water, he saw his own reflection in the water. He got scared and moved back for a moment. Than he realized that it was his own reflection which scared him because he had turned into a blue colored animal. All of a sudden, he got an idea and thought of pretending to be animal from heaven. So that he can rule the entire jungle and dictate all animals with his power. So, he went back to the jungle and all animals when they saw this blue colored animal got scared.
They started discussing among themselves Elephant said," Who is this new animal". He is a devil animal. On that the tiger replied to the elephant, "No, he doesn't seem to be devil animal. We do not know where did he came from let us see what he does on that squirrel which was just playing here "and they saw the new animal and said, "Oh! Oh! this animal is from hell. I am so scared I am running away."
Everybody was little frighten and curious at the same time as to know where this blue colored animal came from .They were thinking of going there and asking that new animal, Where did he came from? In the meanwhile, there was a group of jackal who were howling at a distance, Whooo!! ,after listening to the jackal's howl. This blue colored jackal could not control himself. He could not resist his temptation to howl. So in response to the howl of group of jackal this blue colored jackal howled from where he was Whooo!. As soon as he howled all the animals realized that he was the same jackal who was living with them than all of them got near to him and started blaming him for scaring them away. Than that blue coloured jackal had to tell the entire story and got fooled of himself.
Moral of the story :- If you try to fool others you will fool yourself
